In 1983 I was working for a steel fabricator and I wanted to moonlight on the side, so I borrowed $500.00 from a relative and took the $400.00 we had to our name and bought a gas drive welder generator to do so. I was let go the next day, with the agreement that if it did not work out I could always come back, but I just could not work them both. The $900.00 was all the money we had in the world, so the first six months were real difficult ones. I started out the back of a little orange Datsun pick-up (pictured to the right). We had a 700 square foot rental house that had a single car garage and a little back yard. To the right is a picture of our now shop foreman Matt when he was a kid. The rest, as they say is history, with a lot of hard work and a lot of luck we have come a long way. Now we have 8100 square foot of working space with 8 employees. We have a tremendous crew of not only office personal, but great craftsmen in their trade. Our shop has a two ton overhead crane full length of the building. A 23 ton boom truck, fully tool loaded field truck and flatbed delivery truck to provide the delivery, erection and field welding.
